Dr Sarah Tonks – The Puppet Facelift
Through our client Dr Sarah Tonks, a cosmetic doctor in Knightsbridge, we positioned thread lift treatments in the cutting edge way. Coining the term ‘puppet facelift’ and spinning the news agenda to cover this previously unheard of anti ageing treatment, CCF Media secured TV, newspaper and magazine exposure.
THE BRIEF
Wanting to expand her client list and build her brand nationally, we created a bespoke PR campaign to ensure Dr Tonks got noticed. Specifically, the goal was to boost her profile through print and digital press, in particular getting TV coverage to cement her position as a trusted cosmetic expert within the aesthetics industry.
THE METHOD: PUBLIC RELATIONS
After determining the best treatment to focus on, we devised multiple national pitches to impress media and grab attention. The Puppet Facelift was coined to inspire journalists to cover thread lift treatments and case studies were provided. Coverage included a live demo on ITV’s This Morning and articles across the world.
THE METHOD: SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMISATION
Content writing and SEO management not only formed a large part of campaign, but with ‘puppet facelift’ being a new term we managed to rank at the top of search for our client. Within a few weeks hundreds of clinics were using the term online, proving that a good PR idea can also set the digital agenda.
THE RESULTS: DIGITAL PRINT

Client Testimonials

Human Med UK Ltd engaged CCF Media to grow sales of its device Body-Jet at the start of 2018. They were tasked to deliver regular, national consumer and trade press exposure, along with building a robust digital environment for trade and consumer enquiries. I’m thrilled to say that their efforts have helped grow sales by 15% compared to the year before. Where other agencies deliver superfluous ‘fluff’, CCF adopt a no-nonsense - results driven attitude, and as such their down to earth approach is a breath of fresh air. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to anyone – competition excluded of course!

“The Harley Street Journal is a focused aesthetic magazine. It fills a niche area of immense interest within the UK that other magazines tend to cover more superficially. Based in Leeds I have had enquiries that are nationwide. THSJ ensures my message reaches the target audience. I would recommend THSJ to anyone within the profession and shall continue to work with them”
